SKILL-SET was founded in 2021 by award-winning Record Producer & Songwriter Matt Rowe as an inevitable progression from a storied career as one of the creatives behind some of the biggest-selling recording artists of the 1990’s and 2000’s, followed by a decade of adventures and achievements in the luxury hospitality and events space.
Initially focused on developing bespoke live music programmes for fine dining establishments in London's Mayfair, our scope has evolved to include corporate entities, prestigious brands and private clients from around the world, providing entertainment for all manner of celebrations and ultimately, for destination weddings and events throughout the UK and Europe.

I have always felt that an exquisitly styled hospitality setting is the perfect home for live music.
There always seems to be something missing if it’s not there, and something uncomfortable if it isn’t done well.
Adopting the same creative philosophy that I followed throughout my recording career, rather than seek to claim ownership of these fine performers and their talents, I prefer to take a more integrative approach; to nurture and encourage, to shape and refine. a culture where true authenticity is allowed to thrive.
